Hun fortæller historier fra nær og fjern på både dansk og engelsk og kan findes omkring bålsteder, i skoler, forsamlingshuse, på festivaler og alle andre steder, hvor der er nogen, som vil lytte. Mette arbejder på at udbrede den mundtlige fortælletradition i Danmark, så det en dag igen bliver hverdagskost at fortælle og lytte til gode historier, for ‘historier er næring til sjælen’.
