Bidh i ag obair còmhla ri luchd eachdraidh ionadail; luchd-ealain; luchd-fiolmaidh; luchd-ciùil; agus buidheannan ghlèidhteachais. Tha i an dòchas, leis a sin, a chuideachadh ann a bhith a’toirt an dualchas air ais dhan t-sluagh a-rithist, a thuilleadh air a’chànan a bhios ga giùlain. Ceit Langhorne works in a variety of creative ways to tease out the Gaelic cultural heritage of different areas of the Scottish Gàidhealtachd. She works especially in places where Gaelic has only recently declined, and where once it was widely spoken and richly represented in song, story and poetry. She tells stories; and researches songs, music and traditional practices of these areas. She works in collaboration with local historians; artists; film-makers; musicians and conservation organisations. In her work, she hopes to put the heritage back into the hands of the people, as well as the language that carries it forth.
